Patch & Texture Repair

Drywall Repair & Texture Matching That Disappears

Holes, cracks, water damage and mismatched texture disappear. We patch, float and match knockdown, orange peel and hand textures so repairs vanish under paint.

A repair is only successful if you cannot find it afterward. That means matching the existing texture pattern and its density, feathering the compound far enough that no halo shows in raking light, and priming the patch so it does not flash through the paint.

We repair settling cracks, water damage, nail pops, door-knob holes, remodel scars and failed previous patches — then texture, prime and paint so the wall reads as one continuous surface.

  • Drywall patching and crack repair
  • Knockdown, orange peel and custom texture matching
  • Popcorn ceiling removal and smoothing
  • Water and settling damage repair

Every project starts with a free walkthrough and a clear written price. We protect your floors and furnishings, prep every surface properly, and clean up at the end of each day so your home stays livable while we work.

How We Work

Our Preparation Process

1

Find the cause

Water stains and recurring cracks get diagnosed first. Patching over an active leak or a structural movement issue only buys a few months.

2

Cut back to sound material

Damaged board is cut out square, backed and replaced rather than filled with a mound of compound.

3

Tape and coat

Mesh or paper tape as the repair requires, then two to three coats of compound, each one wider than the last.

4

Feather and sand

Edges are feathered well beyond the patch and pole-sanded so no ridge shows under a raking light.

5

Match the texture

Knockdown, orange peel, splatter, skip trowel and hand textures reproduced and test-sprayed on a board first to dial in the pattern.

6

Prime the repair

Every patch gets primer so the porosity matches the surrounding wall and the paint does not flash.

7

Paint

Spot-coated into an existing finish where the color allows, or wall-to-corner recoated where it will not blend.

Common Questions

Patch & Texture Repair FAQs

Can you match my ceiling texture?

In nearly every case, yes. We spray sample boards until the pattern and density match, then apply it to the ceiling.

Will the repair be visible after painting?

Not when it is feathered, textured and primed correctly. Where a spot repaint would flash, we recoat the full wall to the nearest corner.

Is it very dusty?

We use containment and vacuum-assisted sanding, which keeps dust confined to the work area.
