Epoxy Floor Coatings

Epoxy Garage Floors That Survive Hot Tires

Durable, easy-to-clean epoxy floors for garages, shops, showrooms and commercial spaces. Resistant to oil, hot tires, chemicals and heavy traffic.

Almost every failed garage floor has the same cause: the coating was rolled over a slab that was only acid-etched or, worse, only swept. Epoxy does not stick to concrete — it sticks into concrete, and that requires a mechanical profile.

We diamond grind every slab, repair it, and build a multi-layer system that resists hot tire pickup, road salt, oil and the freeze-thaw cycling that comes with a Northern Nevada winter.

  • Garage, warehouse and business floors
  • Diamond grinding and crack repair
  • Full-flake, metallic and solid color systems
  • Slip-resistant topcoat options

Every project starts with a free walkthrough and a clear written price. We protect your floors and furnishings, prep every surface properly, and clean up at the end of each day so your home stays livable while we work.

How We Work

Our Preparation Process

1

Moisture and condition test

We check the slab for moisture vapor, previous sealers and contamination before quoting a system.

2

Diamond grinding

The full floor is ground with dust-collected diamond tooling to open the concrete and create a proper bond profile.

3

Crack and spall repair

Cracks are chased and filled with a rigid polymer, pitting and spalls are patched and re-ground flush.

4

Base coat

A 100% solids epoxy or moisture-tolerant primer is applied and worked into the profiled slab.

5

Broadcast flake

Vinyl flake is broadcast to refusal while the base is wet, then scraped and vacuumed the next day for a flat, even surface.

6

Topcoat

One or two clear polyaspartic or urethane topcoats seal the flake, add abrasion resistance and carry the UV stability.

7

Cure and return

Foot traffic typically the next day, vehicles after the full cure window we give you in writing.

Why Homeowners Choose Us

  • Oil, brake fluid, antifreeze and salt wipe up instead of staining
  • No hot-tire pickup — the coating stays on the slab
  • Brightens the space dramatically; a coated floor reflects light
  • Seals concrete dust out of your garage and your house
  • Slip-resistant additive available for wet areas and ramps

Our Quality Standards

  • Mechanical diamond grinding on every job — never acid etch alone
  • Moisture tested before system selection
  • Full-refusal flake broadcast for a uniform, non-patchy appearance
  • Manufacturer-specified mil thickness at every layer
  • Written cure schedule before you put anything back in the garage

Materials We Use

  • 100% solids epoxy base coats
  • Polyaspartic and urethane topcoats for UV and abrasion resistance
  • Vinyl flake in stock and custom color blends, metallic systems on request
  • Rigid polyurea crack fillers and patching mortars
  • Aluminum-oxide or polymer grit for slip resistance

Common Questions

Epoxy Floor Coatings FAQs

How long before I can park on it?

Foot traffic is usually 24 hours after the topcoat; vehicles typically 72 hours to five days depending on the system and temperature.

Will it peel like the box-store kits?

Those kits fail because they are thin and applied over etched concrete. A ground slab with a 100% solids base and polyaspartic top is a different product class entirely.

Can you coat a stained or previously sealed floor?

Yes. Grinding removes old sealers and most surface contamination; deep oil saturation gets additional treatment before coating.
